I find it sort of fascinating - all the pros and cons for legalization. Who'd of thought we'd see the day this happened?? Not me!
Where my opinion on the matter stands is that I could argue either side. It is a tough issue. I think people should be able to do what they want with their bodies and lives. I also think that it makes you stupid and people ought not partake in such recreations. Especially young people, yet those are the most enthusiastic proponents.
Let's not ignore the solid life advice of Cher Horowicz.
"It is one thing to spark up a doobie and get laced at parties, but it is quite another to be fried all day."
However, what I am dying to know is: when did we all become okay with smoking again?!
Please spare me the whole "you can eat it in a pot brownie, or turn it into lotion and absorb it through your skin" nonsense because I'm willing to bet that 90% of the consumption of the product is good ole' fashion smoking it.
I am not sure if all the people coming out of the woodwork proclaiming their love for marijuana have been closet smokers all this time or what. I find it funny that so many people are for it these days, yet you light up a cigarette in front of them and you get the stink eye.
I am not trying to be pro-cigarette smoking at all, but I am just trying to understand why the anti-smoking cigarettes movement that is pretty universal doesn't seem to translate to all things you can smoke.
I'd love to know your thoughts on the matter!
